Me’Asa Weyo in 3 questions:
What does your stage name mean? Me’Asa is an African name. The day I discovered it I felt it ‘fit’ me. Weyo is kind of, an abbreviation of ‘Way of Indigo”, the title of my first album.
Where did it come from? I chose an African name because my father was born in Africa, specifically in Congo. I have always felt connected to that continent, its rhythms, its music, its colours, its smells, its stories and its philosophy of life. My 'Dossier de Presse' can be found below in Dutch, French and English.
